Thriving in a Changing Digital Marketplace: Leadership + Innovation

The pre-digital age may seem like a recent memory for some and a step into the history books for others. Yet we can agree on one thing for certain; the Digital Age has fundamentally altered the way humanity will function. Given this large anthropological shift, what differentiates institutions and leaders that thrive in this new world opposed to those that stagnate or die? What common attributes are shared for those rising to the top and how can you implement them in your professional environment? Danny Estavillo from The Nerdery will offer a perspective on tools and steps that leaders can take to thrive in our fascinating digital world.

About the Speaker

Danny Estavillo, Managing Director of The Nerdery’s West region, recently named a 2018 40 Under 40 honoree by Phoenix Business Journal. Estavillo joined The Nerdery in 2016 as its Business Development Director in Phoenix and was promoted to Managing Director of the West region in 2018. As Managing Director, Estavillo helps clients think holistically about how digital can integrate into all stages of business. Known for his intellectual curiosity and strategic thinking, Estavillo is adept at translating business objectives and marketing plans into well-designed solutions. He applies analytical rigor, critical thinking and creativity to help clients move into the future, and has a passion for helping organizations overcome complex problems to become industry leaders.

Prior to joining The Nerdery, Estavillo served in leadership positions with Verizon, Target and Guaranteed Rate and rose to Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps. Estavillo also co-founded Biltmore Psychology and Counseling — a counseling and psychological health practice focused on increasing wellness while removing the mental health stigma — with his wife, Dr. Melissa Estavillo. He is a Founding Member of the AZ Tech Council MedTech Conference and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Arizona State University.
