This event explores how Kevin Spidel used social data to append insights to voter files and build grassroots communities in political campaigns. We’ll then explore how he harnessed that data at media properties to target and qualify leads for SMBs, as well as promote editorial content to grow community with alternative weekly publications.
Kevin Spidel is a Digital Social Scientist and Marketer. A self-described “recovering political hack,” Kevin has parlayed his political experience into building community for media organizations. Mr. Spidel is the Director of Social Marketing for Voice Media Group, publishers of The Village Voice and New Times publications. He began his career as a PR and Political Consultant for Amnesty International, The ACLU, & The Democratic National Committee.
