The Future is Now

When people think of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) the first word that comes to mind is usually “gaming.” But today, VR and AR are being increasingly utilized by traditional business sectors like real estate, healthcare and education to empower their audiences to shop, learn and explore. Imagine being able to tour a house before placing an offer, observing a heart surgery or going on a field trip to the Eiffel Tower, all virtually!

The Next PC?

Not only are VR and AR going mainstream, these technologies are at the brink of disrupting computing as we know it. In fact, Heather Bellini of Goldman Sachs Research expects virtual and augmented reality to become an $80 billion market by 2025, roughly the size of the desktop PC market today. VR and AR technologies have transformed, with graphics and experiences better than ever and historical barriers like price torn down as innovation scales.

Join us Thursday, October 19 from 6-8 pm for an expert panel exploring how marketers can poise themselves and their brands for success using AR and VR by discussing:

  • The right way and the wrong way to shoot VR content
  • 360 video, VR and AR: what’s the difference?
  • The realities of hardware purchases and the impact on consumer adoption
  • Mass market adoption versus novelty. What does it take for VR to be part of our daily practice?
